MATT HANSON

Matt Hanson is a film futurist; a writer and filmmaker described as an "international film visionary" by Screen International magazine, and listed among "Ten people who could change the world" by Forbes. An expert in new moving image forms, he has created a series of projects which explore cinema's future, including A Swarm of Angels, onedotzero, ViewShareRemix, and various book projects such as The End of Celluloid.
Called "the Jimmy Wales [Wikipedia] of filmmaking" by Don Tapscott, bestselling author of Wikinomics, for his creation of the participative feature film project, A Swarm of Angels, Matt lectures around the world on peer production, co-creation, and remixing cinema and creative projects for the digital age. Hanson consults and speaks around the world on new moving image trends and new entertainment models. He lives in Brighton, England, and is an Academy member of IADAS.
